International Customer Service Manager

Reporting to the International Sales Director, you’ll play an important role in our expansion, making sure our business is as successful abroad as it is in the UK. Managing a team of International Sales Advisors, you’ll make sure that work is distributed evenly, that the team meets their deadlines and that they have all the information and support that they need. You’ll also manage our distributors, producing buy sheets and season product information, as well as monitoring sales targets and invoicing processes. And you’ll support our supply chain – from the warehouse to shipping, by giving logistical help, providing details of distributor requirements, and handling projects for international orders whilst ensuring all activities comply with HMRC requirements. You’ll also need to support our Sales Director with reports, projects and advice.
You’ve experience working for a well-known fashion label and you appreciate the importance of committing to a brand’s ethos and identity. With international customer service experience, you’re confident managing a sales team with a high level of goods movement. With knowledge of Letter of Credit payments, you’re organised and flexible in your approach, and your appreciation of the international market means that you’re aware of different cultures. Knowledge of other languages would be an advantage.

With a key role in our finance team, you’ll help provide commercial and financial analysis to support vital senior management decisions across all areas of our business. You’ll help prepare budgets and financial forecasts and be able to interpret and explain them to others. You’ll work on the consolidation of the Group’s management accounts and on one-off projects and ad-hoc financial reporting.
With strong analytical skills, a proactive attitude and an enthusiastic, can-do attitude, you’re also fully qualified with a thorough understanding of all areas of finance, accounting, budgeting and cost control. Indeed, you’re ACA or CA qualified (at one of the big 4), you’re commercially minded and understand the importance of solid financials and quick, accurate analysis in a fast-growing consumer goods company. As Credit Controller you’ll help manage the debtors’ ledger and our cash collection and allocation, as well as provide ad-hoc support to other members of the team. Day-to-day tasks include meeting credit control targets, setting up new customers on the system, reviewing credit limits and issuing regular debt reports. Close liaison with our customers, our sales team and Hunter’s Customer Services department will be a key part of the role. You’ll be enthusiastic, organised and a great people person.
You’ll have a proven track record in providing credit control within an organisation with a turnover greater than £50 million and ideally, you’ll have experience of working with international credit collection. Excellent communication skills are vital – plus you’ll be computer literate..
